The amount of information that they cram into this book series is incredible. Their use of comparison between certain foods was really eye opening to me. For example, I had NO idea that the amount of saturated fat in a Twix was equivalent to the amount of saturated fat in ELEVEN strips of bacon! As a visual person, not only did I find the photography to be very helpful, but the explanations as to WHY certain foods are better than others just made what they were saying make complete sense. I have already lost 17 pounds by eating 1200 calories a day and following the book religiously. I have already recommended these books to all my friends and family. :)
Just a small set of continuous blind decisions add up to a lot of extra calories. This helps point out making the leaner choices. Even if you didn't opt for all the choices, some of them should make a difference.
