Keller does a good job introducing the subject of Apologetics to the modern church, which unfortunately has pretty much forgotten that aspect of being "Salt and Light" in a Sin darkened world.
The only fault I find with the book is it is basic stuff. But such a book is needed for this generation, as those of Francis Schaeffer were needed for the previous generation.
An idea course of study would be to read Keller's book and then work your way through Schaeffer's first three "The God Who is There," "Escape from Reason" and "He is There and He is not Silent"

A must read for an analytical Christian or seeker.
A really fine analysis of what Christianity is all about that provides answers to many hard questions like ":Why does God allow suffering?" I particularly related to Keller's definition of sin and his explanation of religious fanaticism. Keller's NYC
parishioners must really look forward to church on Sundays!

I have now bought 4 of this book to give to friends.
I read though this book, unable to stop. Now, I'm going though more slowly to absorb more.
I found my heart rejoicing as I read. I found hope in my faith at a time and place where it seemed like my faith had become dry and academic. I wish everyone in the world could read this book.
