Garrison Keillor has a way of creating characters that are very real and easy to relate to. Like in his well known Lake Woebegon, they are likeable even with their human absurdities, weaknesses, and imperfections. This story centers around a radio station in the early golden days of radio, and the coming of age of the main character. It was completely enjoyable and full of Mr. Keillors' brand of dry humor. Enjoyable and fun from beginning to end.
