WWII journalism

by WWIIbuff on Jun 11, 2010

If you are interested in WWII you should read this book. It was written during a time when journalism could be trusted. Newspapers were the source for information about what was going on in the world. Pre 24 hour TV news shows. Ernie Pyle, Martha Gellhorn, Robert Sherrod ,Eric Sevareid and Bill Mauldin are just a few who have articles published in the book. It has articles from Normandy to Nagasaki. and Hiroshima and the liberation of the death camps.
