At the time when establishment of both major Parties made wide left shift: Republicans to the middle and Democrats to the far left positions, this book underlines the immutability of real Republican principles: principles of conservative constitutionalists. It is very important to bring the ideas formulates by famous conservative Talk Show host to attention of independent voters before November 2012..

Civics 101 revisited
this is the stuff which should be taught in high schools today and is not. Levin describes his key issues with both sides' viewpoint and compelling arguments underscores his observations and opinions.. Excellent primer on how Constitutional laws should be observed but are ignored in todays Federal government.

This should be required reading in our schools today.
Publishers Weekly, 2009-04-27 Conservative talk show host Levin launches a somewhat rambling indictment of liberalism in this book that pillories liberals for undermining the Constitution and individual freedoms. In a series of screeds, the author rails against the expected bogeymen (big government, big spending, environmentalism) and argues that conservative values are the surest prophylactic against what he regards as an increasingly tyrannical American government. Adam Grupper proves to be the ideal reader for the material; his calm and measured tone remains steady even as Levin's critiques reach their shrillest pitch. His unruffled delivery grounds the occasional bursts of hysteria, and his matter-of-fact newscaster's delivery buttresses Levin's argument. Listeners on any end of the spectrum will appreciate the efficiency of Grupper's reading. A Threshold hardcover. (Mar.) Copyright 2009 Reed Business Information.
