There is only one suspect for the death of a young Vietnamese woman discovered along side the Interstate in Wyoming's Absaroke County. An Indian, Virgil White Buffalo, a Crow with a past. What appears to be an open-and-shut case turns surreal when a photograph in the young woman's purse connects her to an investigation that Longmire trackled forty years ago as a Marine investigator in Vietnam. Absolutely love Craig Johnson's writing. This book is structured very differently from most novels. It is almost like reading two books in one, the relationship between the parts is very subtle. Engrossing story-telling. i will be reading them all, in sequence, so as to not miss anything.
