A spectacular copy of the premier issue of photographer Helmut Newton's occasional periodical which ceased after only four issues. Beautifully reproduced and printed in this oversize format and profusely illustrated with Newton's own photographs of the rich, famous and erotic. A wonderful publication of which most issues are somewhat uncommon, especially this first issue, especially in this condition.

No. 1: Sex and Power, 1987. This edition is in its original shrink wrap, however the wrap has been opened along the right side so the pages can be viewed but book itself is protected. This one was published by Xavier Moreau (later volumes were published by Schirmer). The cover features a picture of Andy Warhol. Book appears as new condition. No. 2: Pictures from an Exhibition, 1987. Great condition, no damage to report. Awesome pictures! No. 3: I Was There, 1991. Cover and front page has a very tiny corner-tip curl, else near fine condition. No. 4: Dr. Phantasme, 1995. tiny bottom front corner tip curl. This edition has some rather unusual and original ideas for imagery, including X-ray as well as strange aparatus, this book contains the most unusual images of the series.
