The Common Sense of the 2lst century

I agree with this book that the only way to deal with the jihadists is through talk and not bullets. I don't believe that it is an existentialist war on the part of the jihadists. A suicide bomber believes he is going to paradise when he blows himself and everyone around him up. I don't believe he or she is obeying the Koran. Thousands of Muslims read and believe in the Koran without having to kill another human being. If the juhadists were existentialists they would believe in talk and not war. The solution is not to convert everyone else inthe world to the Muslim faith. The solution is to understand why the jihadists do what they do and Weigel does a supreme job of explaining this. It reminds me of Thomas Paine
