Eat and Read both
Bought this book as a gift for my hubby, but read it after he was finished with it. Really liked the format of reading a "chapter" at a time. Good book to take to waiting rooms, etc. Loved some essays, others were just informative. Overall, a good choice.

Anyone who is a subscriber to The New Yorker magazine will love this book. If you are not a reader of this wonderful magazine, you will be amazed and entertained by the outstanding collection of short stories about food. I loved reading about about Euell Gibbons, and also why you must always chew a raw oyster at least 3 times.
