I'd already done Dr Gould's online program, which was way better than I expected it. I wanted something to back up the work I'd already done, but should have gone about it the other way round and read the book first ...
I recommend you read the book, and if the ideas in it appeal, do the online course ... it's well worth it ...
I thought the book was very insightful,I keep it by my nightstand to read just a few pages each night and be able to contemplate the message.If you are serious about losing weight,this is a great book to start off with.
I am an over weight Female. I just turned 40 in August. Finding this book was just what I needed. For myself and two of my close friends. I bought a book for each of them for Christmas. We all agree that loosing the weight is a life long project. This book digs in deep to finding the right way to describe yourself and your eating habits. I've been high lighting like mad. If you've been struggling with weight loss or you over eat this book is for you! I highly reccomend it and so do my two best girl friends!
