This book is in very nice condition. It has a Very clean cover with nice edges. The pages are clean, bright & unmarked. no highlighting. no names. There is a small nick to some pages on the side edge. The jacket, in mylar, has only a little light shelf wear, and a small stain. There is a very small edge tear with tape. It is also very clean & bright with a little edge wear. 387 pages..

He served with distinction-raised and equipped his own unit, The Hampton Legion-since he was one of the most wealthy citizens in South Carolina. After the war, he became Governor and later U. S.
