A bit unusual

by Suzanne W on Nov 9, 2014

Might now re-read this; but at the time I finished this book, I thought it the best ever read!--because it encapsulated the humanness of Jesus, the rollicking love of Papa, and the wisdom and spirituality of the ethereal spirit. It lifted me.

Whatever genre you think this book belongs to, it is all of that and more. I enjoyed the book from a religious perspective. Our creator is always within arm's reach and patiently waits for us to reach out to grab those strong gentle arms. In this story, the arms take on a different perspective.

Dealing with intra-racia and interacial misconceptions

Yes! The book is lovely...and thought provoking. And I thought his choice of metaphors striking and appropriate. A Servant to portray not only the Father, but also the Son, and the Holy Spirit. And using, for the United States, and perhaps all of Latin America, this will be something that will ... Read more

Unsure

Beyond the cartoon characters, I think it's a provocative read. But not sure provokes me more: The common-downing of the Trinity or having to examine my own hate, prejudices, and unforgiveness. It's been awhile. I may try to read it again.
