Why Have We Been Drawn Into this War on Terror

by Storm670 on Sep 4, 2007

This is an excellent, easy to read book which examines our understanding of the events leading to 9/11 from the perspective of both the left and the right. D'Souza points out that the cultural left and the culture war we are fighting here in the U.S. is directly related to the events of 9/11. He offers strategies for winning the war on terror. Mr. D'Souza was raised in a Muslim culture and then became a citizen of the U.S., serving at a high leval in the Reagan administration. He brings a unique perspective to the events of 9/11 and their aftermath with an easy to read style. Both the right and the left have made some real mistakes in their assessment of the situation and D'Souza offers another approach. This is truely must read for anyone who is concerned about the future of the United States. His biography on Reagan is also and enjoyable read.
