Most amusing / Wisdom too / Life's little lessons / Just for you. or Who can tell / How much you'll learn / From those signs / Along the berm? ... When I was a young man, my family always looked forward to seeing the Burma-Shave signs along the road, and they inspired me to be more creative with words and to see the humor in life. I first saw this compendium at a B&B in Maine, and sought out a used copy to buy. Recently, I bought a new copy as a gift to a friend who also enjoyed the signs. He had no idea such a book existed. But YOU do. And maybe YOU know someone who would enjoy the compete story of those unique roadside signs and the complete set of jingles. I recommend it highly. ...
