Troubleshooters: They Never Let You Down. The second addictive romantic suspense novel in New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Brockmann's Troubleshooters series, filled with thrilling adventure, excitement and passion. In THE DEFIANT HERO, when Meg Moore risks everything to protect her family, Lieutenant John Nilsson finds he is willing to risk everything to save her. I love the ?Troubleshooter Series? Books by Suzanne Brockmann
Her stories are page turners with ?unforgettable? cast of characters with distinctive qualities ?and exciting adventures, full of extraordinary event and always the risk of danger. You will find yourself getting attached to each of the characters in her stories. You will laugh, cry and fall in love.
Another things I like about her books is she enter acts pass characters in to the current story in the series, keeping us up to date with their life?s as well as introducing us to those that will themselves have a story that leaves you waiting for the next book. I believe that as of this date there are 15 books in the ?Troubleshooter Series?. So start now with the first book ?Unsung Hero?
The cast of characters in ?The Defiant Hero? (2 Troubleshooter Series) are Meg Moore a mother bear that will do anything to get her daughter and grandmother out of hands of the lethal extremists that have kidnapped them. And Navy Seal John Nilsson the one person she knows that is tough enough to help her out. They work together whether or not they each choose to, to save the life of her family.
Publishers Weekly, 2000-12-18 Against the backdrop of terrorism on U.S. soil, Brockmann (The Unsung Hero) weaves three complex romantic relationshipsÄone fondly recalled, one unexpectedly resumed and one bursting at the seams to get startedÄinto a tight tale that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the author's next installment. When terrorists kidnap her grandmother, Eve, and her 10-year-old daughter, Amy, widowed translator Meg takes an Eastern European official hostage to trade for her lost family members. Readers will forgive the plot's implausibility as Meg hurls herself headlong into her risky rescue attempt in spite of interference by former flame and Navy SEAL Lt. John Nilsson. While heating tension and passion to the boiling point, Brockmann firmly squashes the clich? of military men with hearts of stone and imbues her SEALs with honest emotional courage. In an equally refreshing move, she then stands the romance formula on its head, making the SEALs chase the intelligent, self-confident women who've done just fine so far without them. A smart, thrilling keeper among so many disposable stories, this is one to recommend heartily to friends. (Mar. 1) Copyright 2000 Cahners Business Information.
