Near Fine in Fine jacket. First edition thus, first printing. Near Fine in Fine DJ; a clean, unmarked book with square binding, light folding to the lower spine. Forgotten Realms, The Legend of Drizzt Book I. Introduction by Ed Greenwood, and cover art by Todd Lockwood.
I was told by a friend to read the Icewind Dale trilogy first In the end i decided to read the Dark Elf trilogy starting with Homeland first though as this is where Drizzt Do'Urden is born and starts to grow up in Menzoberranzan But as he grows up among his kin, the dark elves, he starts to realize that he is different Drizzt is a dark elf with a heart and a conscience
A brilient book and I would advise to read the Dark Elf triogy first
