A must read

She clearly demonstrates the folly of believing that we as humans are somehow separate and distinct from the rest of creation. Although "Silent Spring" was written over 50 years ago, it's message is as powerful today as it was when it was written.

Not Disappointed

by Jane on Jul 14, 2011

Wonderful book. I will be using this book in my environmental sociology class in the fall. Rachel Carson's courage in writing this book in the face of such powerful and greedy people amazes me!
