This is the story of what it's like to grow up in high school. More intimate than a diary, Charlie's letters are singular and unique, hilarious and devastating. We may not know where he lives. We may not know to whom he is writing. All we know is the world he shares. Caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it puts him on a strange course through uncharted territory. absolutely fell in love with this book. raw, pure, and honest, it was most relieving to read a book that illuminates the often unspoken trials and tribulations of being an american teenager.

My grandson did not bother to read the book and I do not have access to it so I don't know why it was of so little interest.

Great Book

The book is amazing, I read it the first time when I was 15 and I actually bought this one for my little sister who is now 15. My only problem was that the previous owner did not state that it had been highlighted and wrote on. :/
