Philosophy in a can

by Leon on Jan 3, 2012

I apologize for the headline -- "Philosophy in a can" isn't intended to flame Will Durant in any way. He is an epochal writer and, I believe, tackled this monumental topic incredibly well. Saying that, the book gives the reader an extraordinary panorama of deep, abstract thought that is guaranteed to instruct and push one off the shore and into deep waters where wonderment and serendipity lie in wait. All I can say is "try it, you'll like it" and if you're like me, you'll wonder why you had to wait til you were an old fart to discover this jewel. Enjoy.
