Bad

This take on The Phantom of the Opera is horrible. All the romance is taken out. Though some parts are funny I don't care for the fat jokes concerning the lead. Like wise Christine is vain and stupid. The whole novel uses only annoying female characters,

Witches in the city, why not ?

by edKo on Mar 22, 2007

Terry sends our favourite witches away from the mountains, deep into the city of Ankh Morpork. "Maskerade" is Pratchett's remake of the famous 'Phantom of the opera' done with style, grace, mistery and lots of lots of humour. And when the greatest witch in the world (and her sidekick) are here, you can be sure there will be a lot of chaos too. Personal favourite. If you like the Witches, you must have this book *two thumbs up*
