Sean King and Michelle Maxwell both bear the scars of their previous case. Michelle is in a psychiatric hospital after making a suicide attempt while Sean, down on his luck and desperately worried about his friend, accepts a PI job at Babbage Town - a hugely secret establishment where, it seems, corpses turn up more quickly than new codes can be encrypted by the genius mathematicians who are employed in the place ...While Michelle's psychiatrist determines the key to her deep depression lies in events suppressed during her childhood, Michelle uncovers something truly disturbing happening in the hospital pharmacy ...And with both the FBI and CIA making their presence felt in Babbage Town, Sean begins to wonder what really goes on there. This book was like many of David Baldacci very interesting and hard to put away that's why I finished it in one setting. This book was also in very good condition when I received it.

read the book before reviewing it
I don't know if I'm the right person to write a review because I enjoy all of his books immensely. This is another page turner that I read in one day. I've always bought every book of David Baldacci and John Grisham and whereas Grishams' books seem, at least to me, to be going downhill, Baldacci goes uphill. I enjoyed the old characters from former books in this story. The former Secret Service agents who are now private investigators (Sean King and Michelle Maxwell) from the books Split Second and Hour Game are back and how! Human genius can mean power but can also be deadly... A story about a world filled with spies, physicists, mathematicians, a genius girl and classified codes. First the murder of a scientist inside the CIA,s compound and with more murders to follow, Sean's life is at risk and he really needs the help of Michelle. Guess I just have to say that this book, along with all the others are just great! It's a real shame if you don't read it.
