i ordered an echo in the bone, tried to read and found that it was too confusing for my old brain. checked it out and got the first in the series out- lander . what a lucky break. I love love love the series.

I fell in love with Diana Gabaldon's books with the first one, Highlander. This one is just as good. Great history and I love the charachters. Look forward to more. I didn't give it 5 because occasionally my mind would wander if it got too long on certain parts. That's just me though.

If you like historical romance mixed with lots of adventure and history, with mystery and lots of detail to the time period, you will really love this series. You really get involved with the characters in the books. That is why I am glad it is a series, it keeps going and going with the same people ...
