Cooking: Julia Child was a pioneer in bringing kitchen techniques and "gourmet" preparation foods and tips to Public Television on Boston's WGBH during the 1970s-1980s. Her interest was French cooking style, and her presentation was unlike any other before or since with her non-TV voice, her natural humor, and her nearly ever-present glass of wine. Her show was widely syndicated internationally. This volume offers 13 complete menus and over 100 recipes. It's first copyright for Knopf was in 1978.
I ordered this autographed edition of Julia Child's cookbook, that was signed by Paul Child as well, for my wife's birthday. Julia would be very proud of my wife's love of cooking. The book arrived very soon after I placed my order, and was in excellent shape. I would recommend this cookbook edition to any home cooks or professional chefs. The seller was great, and Albris is always a great site with good service.
