Awaken

by MICHAEL S on Sep 27, 2010

The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran Is a living manual for every human; not the only one! IT Awakened in me a desire to live at the highest level. The older I get the truer and deeper the principles he elucidates so expressively resonate in my soul.

Poetry is Wisdom

by Uyen on Apr 23, 2010

This book is a must have for anyone who considers themselves philosophical. Kahlil is full of wisdom and wonder. Read the poems over and over again and you'll find something you haven't seen before.

Gibran at his finest

by Jes79 on Oct 2, 2008

This book was recommended to me. It is a book that should be kept and reflected on every couple of years. It reveals the human psychy in all it's stages and can be used for personal and professional insight by everyone. It is an easy read, it is a short read, but be sure to ponder all its words; as they will stay with you long after you finish reading it. Whether you are from the 1920's when it was written or 2045, the message is the same. Enjoy reading it, and dont forget to recommend it!!
