It a great book for people who wat to have more knowledge about the environment, if you cant afford to get the latest edition as i have known that there are new editions coming out but this book is not very out dated yet so its alright .

I am only a few chapters in, but so far it is very readable and informative for one with little previous knowledge of the material. It's not boring, high praise for a textbook!!
