This book is an ok review/sg of the 4th edition of Mankiw (virtually the same as the 5th edition that is current.) However, the reteaching is less than clear; it never seems to take up the possibility that the reason a student might need a study guide could be that s/he didn't get the material in the book. Most of the sg consists of question or tests - the reteaching is quite limited.
Moreover, the book is either biased or simple minded or both. Everything is far over simplified - to the point that statements are of dubious truth. They seem to represent a "market invisible hand" approach, without mentioning the limits of that idea and/or policy. Nor is their any real mention of the validity of other points of view or even a more contextual approach. As a teacher, I find myself spending more time undoing the damage that the book does than reinforcing/explaining its teaching.
If you have to use Mankiw, the study guide should be of some help to your students, but, on the whole, I'd find another text.
