This book takes the place of the old Ball Blue Book and contains the latest guidelines from the USDA on safely canning and preserving good food. The recipes are easy-to-follow and cover a wide variety of food, from peaches and peppers to venison and zucchini. If you only buy one book for canning and preserving, this is the only book you'll need! NOTE: I bought the glued paperback version of this book but I wish I could have afforded the hard cover. Some of the pages are already falling out - but then I've used and abused this book alot!
