    This book is a must have for anyone intent on preserving summer's bounty. Experienced and beginner alike will find invaluable information within. This book takes the place of the old Ball Blue Book and contains the latest guidelines from the USDA on safely canning and preserving good food. The recipes are easy-to-follow and cover a wide variety of food, from peaches and peppers to venison and zucchini. If you only buy one book for canning and preserving, this is the only book you'll need! NOTE: I bought the glued paperback version of this book but I wish I could have afforded the hard cover. Some of the pages are already falling out - but then I've used and abused this book alot!
