The ISBN system was devised beginning in 1967, and books published prior to then don't have "editions" associated with them. It's very similar with movie, music and video game UPCs. Our 10 month old son loves to listen to my husband or I read it to him! What a fabulous book for all ages truly! There is one "name" error in the book which I found interesting but overall, a great read!
