I actually read the sequel "Bright Lights, Big Ass" first. Jen does come across as whiny, but much of that is for effect. She really does learn a painful lesson about making priorities in life by the end of this story.

This book is absolutely hysterical! I have never laughed SO hard and SO much from a book! I have had 2 girlfriends read it and they also loved it! I would recommend this to any and all women!
