Good Historical Account Nov 19, 2007
One the the better and most comprehensive histories of the Ford dynasty. Brinkley understands more than any other author the peculiar, striking, obsessive and unique genious that was Henry Ford.
Of note as well, is the analysis of Henry's relationship to his sons, Edsel and Benson. The historical coverage in this book throws a wide swath through the history on the 20th century in America, and what made "Fordism" an international force for 80 years.
Perhaps there are lessons in this book which the current leadership might take to heart.
