Sex is more interesting than fun. May 31, 2007

"Why sex is fun" as a title is more marketing ploy than serious reflection of subject matter. What is dealt with are miscellaneous aspects of human sexual evolution such as the function of male nipples and female menopause; subject matters hardly likely to stir much public interest. Not quite on the same level as "Guns, germs and Steel" or "Collapse", I still recommend this book both for its readability and because Jared Diamond remains such an original thinker.
