Beautiful Book, Beautiful Movie Mar 30, 2007

I picked this book up after having been a fan of the Bette Davis film of the same name for years. I must say, it definitely lives up to the movie and vice versa. If you have ever seen the film about a mentally abused young woman in search of herself, you'll want to read this book. It reads EXACTLY like the movie. Ninety-nine percent of the dialogue is the same. There are a few differences, though, such as other characters (namely Lisa Vale's other daughter, Fabia and, I believe, Jerry has another daughter as well) and a difference in Charlotte (she's much more sarcastic in the book). If you're thinking about purchasing this book, I say go for it. You won't be disappointed.
