    Great book!
    Shipper shipped book same day!
USPS took their good old time to get it here. I ordered on Monday thinking that I should have it by Sat. Sure enough it showed up on Sat.... a week later. It took 11 working days to get from GA to central KS! :(

I am so glad this translation of the Bible is available. I have searched many versions and most if not all are still basically King James Version. I hate the King James Version because it is sooo wrong! This translation has opened up the scriptures to me so much that I look forward to reading it every day. I have sent a copy to my Mother and I encourage her to read.

I ordered this book, and it was in great condition, better than was expected. I bought this to get a different perspective on the New Testament. It was a rather simplistic translation, but did help to connect the Old and New Testament of the Bible. I am a Catholic, so I prefer the Douay Rheims Bible, but I am always looking for fresh way to see the holy Scripture and this fit the bill nicely. I use other translations during my regular Bible study, but use this as a reference so when I read the New Testament I will go in and read this as well. My friend and I bought this at the same time, she is reading the Jewish New Testament along with the Commentary written for it, so there are many ways to utilize this version.

I highly recommend this book as a help in reading and understanding the Bible. It shows the reader all the connections between The old and The new testament that can be hard to discern otherwise.
