The ISBN system was devised beginning in 1967, and books published prior to then don't have "editions" associated with them. It's very similar with movie, music and video game UPCs. It's also possible that a seller listed an item with us and didn't include an ISBN/UPC with the listing. You'll find items like this by clicking this link.

The story line of 50 Shades was pretty good. I thought the sex was blatant and excessive, but I suppose that's what made the books so popular. One thing really got to me...if I read the two main characters "smirking" one more time, I wanted to smack somebody! This definitely is "Chick-Lit". Although I'm a man, I wanted to know what everyone was talking about. Can't imagine how they will make a movie of this and have an "R" rating.
