If you haven't heard of the Carville, LA federal hospital for Hansen's disease patients, this will clue you in. Neil White gets sent there as an inmate, and finds out what really matters in life (not success) from his experience there. Now the hospital is closed & has been turned into a museum, so we will not forget how not to treat others.

Good read - makes you realize that happiness comes from inside the heart!

The author respectfully waited 15 years before publishing his insights while incarcerated at Carville, a facility for treatment of leprosy (Hansen's Disease)
The author's treatment of the sufferers is respectful and his humor shines through the various charcters who lived with him while serving his time
