This was Book 1 in The Mysteries of Middlefield series. Although its listed as Juvenile Fiction I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Besides giving me a personal glimpse into the Amish lifestyle it gave me an easy escape in my spare time to unwire. It was like a cool breeze on a hot day. Based around an Amish family whose brother and sister help another boy who is trying to survive alone and has no one. It sends a message about helping others no matter the cost and about keeping secrets from others. It made me smile and not feel alone in just wanting some peace and quiet even though it was thru a teenager's eyes. Deep down I felt I connected with the daughter. Great book. I would like to say Thanks to Booksneeze for allowing me to do this review and for sending me the book for free.
