Nothing can compare you for the heartache of letting your children become adults. As a teenager mother at 18 my daughter and I have grown up together. I was lucky enough to realize from my own raising that time is all children really want from you and I have spent every moment I could with my daughter. I do feel like the author hit alot on my feelings very accurately. It really helps to realize that my feelings are felt by many parents as they transition thier children into adulthood. I love this book with a passion and will give it as a gift to every mother I know. Its a great reminder of not letting society dictate what box your child belongs in.
