Helpful Book for Stong bones Jul 26, 2012
The WHOLE FOOD GUIDE TO STRONG BONES is a readable, comprehensible, and compendious book on its subject. One very important point that is strongly made is that FLEXIBILITY -- not just strength -- is important to prevent breaking bones.
However, I have two complaints. One is that the hormone progesterone isn't mentioned (though estrogen is). The other complaint is that the book lacks an index and is therefore hard to use as a reference work.
Otherwise, I recommend it highly.
