It is difficult to find a small-in-size, quick-to-read daily devotional--this is it. Each month is themed such as February, "Evidences of the Believer"; each day of the year is represented by one scripture, followed by a stanza or two of a related poem. That's it!
I have given several copies of this 1852 book to friends, being originally drawn to it by its use by one of my favorite historical figures--the right man for the most crucial hour in our nation's history.
