The story of the Alamo Scouts, how
they came into being and their
missions makes for a great read.
Litle know till well after the war they
stand out as the true plank holders
    for the Army's Special Forces.

if you're looking for a book that paints
the true picture of what it was like to
operated behind enemy lines in the
Pacific during WW II, this is a book you
    won't wasnt to miss.

Not really much depth in the story telling, An important facet in the development of our military, but not as meaty as I was hoping for.
Still a good choice if ww2 history in the pacific is one of your favorite subjects.
