It's amazing to learn how one small animal can change the attitudes of so many people. The author showed how and why an animal/pet can changes lives. We have much to learn from them and Vicki Myron gave us a small glimpse into that. I sent my copy to a friend who lived in Spencer, IA for several years.

This is a touching story. It's really good. Dewey was truely a special cat. He was quiet "human" and could comfort people, and help people of all ages. Great book.

Their site said the book was in great condition - well, it was better than great - I think it was brand new! No marks of it having been read before - outside and inside in perfect shape. I'll go back for more books in the future!

A warm hearted story of overcoming obstacles in life. A reminder of life in a small rural community and the determination of the people who choose to live there. Touches on the good effects a pet can have on children, as well as adults. A close look at a lifestyle vanishing from the greatest country on earth.
