Excellent Book for Children Nov 18, 2011

I bought this children's bible for my granddaughter. She is 7. She loves it. She made a comment that there are so many more bible stories in it than her regular bible story book. That's because this book goes through the whole bible. It paraphrases the content in an easy to read, easy to understand format for them, taking them from Genesis to Revelation. What it also does, which may be a problem for some, not for me, but when you're reading the books Numbers and Leviticus, you get into a lot of repeitition and facts about the size of the tents, the laws, etc. In this bible it condenses it into one story for the children while keeping it in context with the bible as a whole. This helps them stay interested and not get lost in the details. I think it's perfect for grade school children.
