When I found this book I was immediately intrigued. Written from an actual diary of a 1930's New York Socialite, found by New York Times writer, Lisa Koppel. Florence Wolfson, the girl who wrote the diary, was located and helped to pen the book. As a young woman, enamored with art, writing, both men and women and she pours her emotions into her diary. Unfortunately, I felt as the book didn't flow. It felt forced somehow. It was an interesting book, but not something I couldn't wait to get back to. I would be interested to read others opinions.
