  • Wonderful misadventure book ! May 29, 2009

Peter Allison is a great writer who has wonderful stories to tell about his adventures as a safari guide in Africa. Everything from being "adopted" by wild animals to Japanese tourists to being chased by wild animals, Allison has seen and done it all.

His adventures start when he's rather young - about 19 - and they haven't ended since. Starting off as simply someone wandering through, hoping to find a job to sustain his Great Adventure, Allison finds himself getting a real job as a safari guide when he realized he really didn't want to leave Africa.

Funny, witty and heart warming, Allison's adventures will have you laughing from beginning to end.
