Fine. This is a later printing of the second edition first published in 1961, this one in a deluxe binding of patterned faux leather which may be misidentified as real leather. Close examination seems to show a repeat in the grain pattern. Quarto, about 11.25 inches (28.5 cm) tall, in brown faux leather decorated in gilt. 335 pages illustrated by photographs. Perhaps not everything you want to know, but it covers the weapons, the type of shooting, hunting big game, advantages of different types and makers, cartridge reloading. A pristine copy with no sign of wear, clean and sound inside. Issued without a dustjacket.
