8vo, pp. 214. Lithographs and photographs by Fred Machetanz. Interesting provenance of this book: large, decorated bookplate of the Hudson's Bay Company to front pastedown, facing which is a small rubber stamp which says "Withdrawn from Hudson's Bay Company / The Beaver Magazine Library". The Beaver Magazine was the official magazine of the Hudson's Bay Company, widely circulated amongst its northern outposts. Spine label to lower spine of book, and small corresponding portion missing from lower dust jacket spine (where label removed). Text exceptionally clean and bright. Sl. shelf wear to book; else in vg condition. The dust jacket has small piece missing from top of spine, and is chipped at edge, with light wear to folds, else in good condition.
