Book club edition, near fine cloth hardcover showing touch of rubbing at board edges and small ink name stamp at top of half title page, in very good jacket showing some rubbing and soil, short corner wrinkle at top of front flap, and edge wear including some very shallow chipping at spine head. 175 pages with illustrations by Irv Docktor and with historical consultation by Henry W. Clark. Remains an attractive copy of this 6th installment in the popular series, each of which, ". tells the exciting story of two young persons' adventures during some of history's most dramatic events-written by top authors, illustrated by top artists, checked for historical accuracy by experts".
Docktor, Irv. Good in Good jacket. Pages clean except for a prior owner's name on the half-title page, a paperclip mark with some rust staining affecting the front endpaper and next two leaves, and some spotting along the right edge of the page block; binding square and secure, hard cover only gently rubbed at corners and spine ends. Jacket bears very short, open tears and surface wear at the spine ends and corners, some scuffing along the sides of the spine and the foreedges, specking and spotting on the back, and a little fading at the spine, yet remains overall good, now protected in a clear sleeve.
