Very good in very good dust jacket. Binding is clean and straight; tanning to top of the page block. Dust Jacket is unclipped, and lightly worn at edges. 333 p. illus., ports. 24 cm. Includes: Illustrations, Portraits. Great copy for a collector.
Very interesting book that tells about the life of both black and whites in the 1940's - 1960's.
Very " colorfull " in portions but tells it like it was during that time. Goes into the hunting aspect along with the problems facing the farmers/ planters and the growing unrest of the native population. Mr. Ruark has several books about his time and experiences in Africa and everyone is worth reading both from a hunters interest and historical points of country, life style and human view points
