This is an enormous book-like a coffee-table book (and that's where mine sits). I did not realize it would have such a large format, but that's the only down-side to it. The book is full of interesting, regionally correct recipes. I own a number of cookbooks that I obtained when I lived in Italy, but this one has the advantage of listing BOTH the Italian and the American measurements for ingredients. One of the best aspects of Tuscany the Beautiful is the plethora of magnificent photos of food and Tuscan countryside. It's fun to look at for them alone!
