Very Good. A cocktail recipe book published during Prohibition that, unlike several others, makes no apologies or sly euphemisms about the use of alcohol in the mixed drinks. Beverages are divided into cocktails, coolers, and heaters. Also includes recipes for canapes, hunt breakfasts, and recipes designed for the bachelor. Green cloth. Previous owner's name in pencil on front free endpaper; a pencilled note in text; offsetting from two clippings, else a very good copy. No dust jacket. Noling, p. 281. Scarce.; 12mo 7"-7½" tall; , 83 pages.
Very Good. Assumed First Edition with publisher's insignia on copyright page. Very Good, in a Fair dust jacket with price of $1.00 intact. Light staining, soiling and a few dings to cloth. Contents toned with a tape repair to the edge of one page, and damage where two pages were stuck together and then pulled apart. The dust jacket shows heavy chipping and loss. Rare in dust jacket, though the jacket is in less than desirable condition.
